Job Description

Division: Facilities
TITLE: Specialist I - Facilities
PAY RATE:

The salary range for this position is $24,398 - $35,840.

FUNCTION:

The Specialist I provides clerical support for the Facilities Division.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Administers rubbish removal payment process
  2. Modifications to rubbish contract per schedule changes or sire requests
  3. Records receipt of rubbish removal report from each Cleveland Municipal School/site
  4. Administers Inside/outside building permits, type, filing, mail
  5. Obtains Board approval initiation for outside rentals
  6. Requests /receive deposits for outside rentals
  7. Oversees billing for outside rentals
  8. Oversees custodial personnel vacation and sick forms, copy, and mail
  9. Sends message to custodians and assistant custodians via page net
  10. Performs general office duties including filing, phone messages, Xerox, data input, keep copy and fax machines filled with paper, distribute faxed to proper mail box
  11. Keeps an ongoing record of all custodial daily sign-in and overtime sheets, file and send to storage at the end of the school year. Send the same back to the sites every two weeks
  12. Opens and distributes all mail
  13. Maintains Facilities call off log
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Access
  3. Ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  4. Good written and oral communications skills
  5. Good interpersonal and organization skills
